LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities in southern Nevada are looking for a 22-year-old fugitive who they say was released after giving Nye County sheriff's deputies false identification when she was arrested over the weekend in Pahrump.
Nye County sheriff's Detective David Boruchowitz says Jessica Holbert provided a California driver's license with the name Mary Moriarty during her arrest on Saturday on drug paraphernalia charges.
Holbert was released Sunday - before authorities realized she was a fugitive sought by Las Vegas police and the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation.
Boruchowitz says Holbert now faces additional felony charges in Nye County of criminal impersonation and using the identity of another.
