LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say robbery and drugs were the apparent motive for a shooting that left a man dead and a woman wounded in a northeast Las Vegas trailer home.

Police say 45-year-old Gary Lamar Chambers shot 29-year-old Gary Bly dead a little after 10 a.m. Tuesday at a North Las Vegas Boulevard trailer.

They say 53-year-old Lisa Papoutsis was wounded in the hand when she tried to slap the gun from Chambers hand.

Chambers was arrested Wednesday and is being held at the Clark County pending arraignment Friday on charges including felony murder, attempted murder, attempted robbery and methamphetamine trafficking.

Police say Chambers was seen running from the trailer after shots were fired.

He allegedly had methamphetamine in his pocket when he was arrested Wednesday at a fast-food restaurant.
