A jury has been picked in Las Vegas for the sex assault and robbery trial of a self-described pimp who faces triple murder charges in a separate death penalty case stemming from a Strip shooting and fireball in February.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ammar Harris, the suspect in the February 12, 2013 shooting on the Las Vegas strip.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A jury has been picked in Las Vegas for the sex assault and robbery trial of a self-described pimp who faces triple murder charges in a separate death penalty case stemming from a Strip shooting and fireball in February.

Officials say opening arguments are set Thursday morning for 27-year-old Ammar Harris' trial in Clark County District Court.

Harris has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a woman's claim that he forced sex acts and robbed her in 2010.

He's also due for trial in December on murder and firearm charges in the Strip shooting case.

Charges in the sex case were dropped when the alleged victim refused to testify and moved to Texas.

The case was resurrected following the Strip carnage, when the woman testified before a grand jury.
