LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a woman who died after she and a man were struck by a truck that drove up on a Las Vegas sidewalk.

Clark County coroner's officials say 52-year-old Brenda Kay Smiley died after the crash about 5 p.m. Sunday on Valley View Boulevard, south Sahara Avenue.

Authorities say a Nissan Titan was traveling eastbound on Sahara when it made an abrupt right turn and drove into oncoming traffic on Valley View. It then drove up onto the sidewalk and hit the two before fleeing the scene.

Smiley was pronounced dead at University Medical Center, while a 39-year-old man was treated for moderate injuries.

Truck driver Jason Manuma was found nearby and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
