LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say one person has been shot dead and a second was injured east of downtown Las Vegas.
Authorities say they responded a little after 6 p.m. Monday to reports of gunshot victims near Lamb Boulevard and Stewart Avenue.
Officers say they found one male victim dead on Miratan Street, while a survivor was found collapsed at a nearby apartment complex.
Police say the injured person was taken to University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the head.
No suspect information has been released.
