DUI Suspect in Deadly Bus Stop Crash Has Arrest Record

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 23-year-old man suspected of driving under the influence in a deadly crash at a Las Vegas bus stop has previous arrests for marijuana possession and theft.

Las Vegas police say Gary Lee Hosey was arrested last year for marijuana possession, obstructing a police officer and lewd or lascivious conduct. Earlier this year, he was arrested for marijuana possession, theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

It's not clear if he was convicted in those cases.

Hosey now faces four counts of DUI resulting in death following the crash Thursday morning. Police say he suffered a collapsed lung and possible broken back.

The crash killed four pedestrians at the bus stop, including 49-year-old Johnni Lee Garner. The identities of the others killed have not yet been released.

Eight others were injured.
