LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a Las Vegas police officer has minor injuries after another vehicle T-boned the patrol car he was sitting in.
Police Lt. Glen Lowe says the officer was taken to University Medical Center after the crash about 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
Lowe says the officer's car was stopped behind a traffic accident on South Maryland Parkway, south of Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
Officials say that's when a third vehicle hit the front driver's side of the patrol car.
Lowe says both vehicles have major damage. The medical condition of the driver who hit the patrol car isn't clear.
