LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 29-year-old NVEnergy employee who died after falling an estimated 100 feet from Las Vegas-area utility tower.
Clark County coroner's officials say Herbie Dempsey Goforth III died after the fall Tuesday at the Apex Industrial Park near U.S. 93.
Las Vegas Police spokesman Jose Hernandez says a caller reported the incident about noon, but the circumstances of the fall weren't immediately clear.
A spokeswoman for the utility issued a statement saying the company is mourning the loss of one of its NVEnergy family members.
