LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a
25-year-old man found dead of gunshot wounds in a parking lot
several blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Clark County coroner says Brandon Maurice Campbell died of
gunshot wounds before he was found late Sunday at an apartment
complex near Cambridge Street and Twain Avenue. His death was ruled a homicide.
Las Vegas police Officer Marcus Martin tells the Las Vegas
Review-Journal witnesses have described Campbell's assailant as a heavyset black man in his late 20s with Afro-style hair and a beard.
Police also are looking for a white four-door car with Nevada
license plates and a broken window covered in a blue plastic.
