LAS VEGAS (AP) - An 82-year-old Las Vegas man has been critically injured after driving his motorized wheelchair into the path of an SUV.
Police say the crash happened a little before 7 p.m. Thursday on Craig Road, just east of Nellis Boulevard.
Authorities say the man tried to cross the road outside a marked crosswalk and was hit by a Honda CRV.
The wheelchair rider was taken to University Medical Center, while the driver of the Honda was not hurt.
