LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada judge has declared a mistrial in the
case against eight Hells Angels in a December 2008 wedding chapel
brawl with rival Mongols motorcycle club members.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Clark County District Court Judge Michael Villani ruled Wednesday that prosecutors failed to fully turn over evidence to defense attorneys as required.
It would have been the seventh day in the trial of eight of 13 men who pleaded not guilty after their indictment in July 2010.
Each is accused of attempted murder, battery, assault, conspiracy and taking part in activities of a criminal gang.
Six people were hurt in the melee at A Special Memory Wedding
Chapel, including two who received stab wounds.
Defense attorneys say their clients were acting in self-defense.
