LAS VEGAS (AP) - Officials in Las Vegas say McCarran International Airport handled the same number of passengers in November as it did a year earlier.
Data released Tuesday shows more than 3.3 million people flew in and out of the airport last month. That's virtually the same number of people who flew in November 2012.
Total airport traffic up 0.2 percent for the first eleven months of 2013, compared with the same period last year.
Domestic traffic was down by 0.3 percent in November, while the number of passengers flying internationally increased by 3.7 percent. Domestic carriers make up about 90 percent of traffic.
Of the top five airlines serving the airport, the budget carrier Spirit saw the biggest passenger gain in November.
McCarran is the seventh-busiest airport in the country.
