LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man in a wheelchair was not seriously injured when he was hit by a tractor-trailer at a busy Las Vegas intersection.
Las Vegas police Officer Bill Cassell says the man was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with injuries that weren't described as life-threatening after the accident a little before 10 a.m. Thursday at Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard.
Cassell says he doesn't immediately have details about how the incident happened.
He says the truck driver remained at the scene and police are investigating.
