LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man and his daughter are dead in a murder-suicide early Sunday morning in North Las Vegas.
Police Officer Chrissie Coon says a preliminary investigation reveals the family became involved in a heated argument and the 52-year-old father fatally shot his 25-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself.
Two other adult family members who were home at the time escaped injury.
The names of the deceased were not immediately released.
The 5 a.m. shootings are under investigation.
Meanwhile, the Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the victims of another suspected murder-suicide as a Las Vegas couple.
Authorities say 51-year-old Nicholas Lanza fatally shot his 38-year-old estranged wife, Megan Lanza, before turning the gun on himself Wednesday night at her home.
