Man Outside Crosswalk Hit and Killed
LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 48-year-old man who was reportedly crossing a Las Vegas street outside a crosswalk is dead after being struck by a car over the weekend.
Authorities say the man was on Warm Springs Road east of South Hinson Street when he was hit by a Toyota FJ Cruiser about 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead on the scene. His identity hasn't yet been released.
Police say the 24-year-old Las Vegas man driving the Toyota remained on the scene.
The crash marks the second fatal traffic accident this year in Las Vegas police jurisdiction.
