LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police and firefighters are investigating the death of a man whose body was found after an explosion and fire at a mobile home.
Authorities say several callers reported hearing an explosion a little after 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at a mobile home park east of downtown Las Vegas.
Clark County firefighters doused flames within about 15 minutes and found a 60-year-old man dead inside.
A county spokesman says the man was apparently the only resident. His name wasn't immediately made public.
No other injuries were reported.
It isn't immediately clear what caused the fire. Damage is estimated at about $15,000.
