LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 56-year-old Las Vegas man who died after driving his motorized wheelchair into the path of a car.
Clark County coroner's officials say Raybert Radomes died of injuries from the crash that happened just before 11 a.m. Monday on Flamingo Road west of Duneville Street. That's in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley.
Authorities say the wheelchair rider was trying to cross Flamingo Road when he was struck by a Chrysler 300 driven by a California man.
The wheelchair rider was taken to University Medical Center and died of his injuries about six hours later.
The driver of the Chrysler was not injured.
The crash marks the 41st traffic-related death this year in Las Vegas police jurisdiction.
