LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a man is dead after a fire broke out in a Clark County garage.

Firefighters say they responded just after noon Monday to a home on Abbyville Drive, near Warm Springs and Paradise roads.

They say they went into the garage by going through the house and cutting away the roll-up garage door, then extinguished the flames.
Crews say they transported a man and a woman to St. Rose Siena hospital for treatment. The man was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the man or the cause of his death. Clark County firefighters estimate damages at $40,000.
