LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 45-year-old man suspected in a fatal Las
Vegas shooting is in custody.
Police say they've arrested Henderson resident Brenton Smith on
suspicion of the shooting early Sunday morning. The Las Vegas
Review-Journal reports that police announced the arrest Monday.
The name of the man who was killed has not been released. He had
at least gunshot wound when he was found and taken to the
University Medical Center. He died at the hospital.
Police say Smith had gotten into a fight with the victim.
Smith faces a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
