LAS VEGAS (AP) - A judge has tossed all charges against a Las Vegas casino worker accused of killing her live-in boyfriend by backing her vehicle over him last November.

Las Vegas Township Judge Eric Goodman ruled Friday that murder and driving under the influence charges were unjustified against 34-year-old Sounilak Ouchlaeun.

The judge the death was an accident, and it sounded like 44-year-old Conrado Mendoza had the opportunity to get out of Ouchlaeun's way.

The Las Vegas Sun reports his ruling at the end of a preliminary hearing bars prosecutors from again bringing murder charges against Ouchlaeun in the case.

According to a witness, Ouchlaeun tried to leave in her SUV after she and Mendoza drank at the home the couple rented together and got into a fight.

The witness told police that Mendoza yelled for Ouchlaeun to stop when the vehicle lurched backward and ran over him.
