LAS VEGAS (AP) - A judge has ruled that a Las Vegas nightclub needs to clean up nearly half of the skits in a show that some argued was too raunchy for Sin City.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Judge Susan Scann decided last week that some of the edgy vignettes at The Act club probably ran afoul of lease provisions.
Those allow property owner Las Vegas Sands to veto tenants that it feels detract from the "first-class" image it wants to project at The Palazzo resort.
Managers at The Act say they're disappointed the court is requiring them to edit the production, adding that their lease calls for them to produce a show similar to the avant-garde ones at The Box theater in New York City.
But they say they plan to comply.
