LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is visiting Las Vegas to tour one of the top-rated public schools in the state and talk with Nevada leaders about the growth of digital learning.

The Republican is set to visit Advanced Technologies Academy on Thursday, then meet with panelists including Clark County Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky, state lawmakers and a student.

The school, also known as A-Tech, was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the No. 1 public high school in Nevada and 304th in the nation. It has 68 percent minority student enrollment.

Bush started the Foundation for Excellence in Education, which recently issued its annual Digital Learning Report Card. Nevada ranked 4th in the nation and most improved for policies that encourage technology in education.
