HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say a 19-year-old Henderson woman was hit by a car and killed while walking in a marked crosswalk.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the accident happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday on Boulder Highway near Corn Street. The woman died at the scene.
Henderson police arrested 26-year-old Ricky J. Bonilla of Las Vegas on a charge of driving with a revoked license, which was revoked for a previous conviction of driving while intoxicated.
Police say Bonilla voluntarily submitted to a blood test, but did not appear to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.
The victim's name is being withheld until her family is notified.
