LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified an 11-year-old Las Vegas girl who died after an accident at a southern Nevada sledding area.
Clark County coroner's officials say Vanesa Lara was pronounced dead at University Medical Center after the accident Tuesday afternoon at the Foxtail Mountain sledding area.
An exact cause of death has not been released.
The sledding area is located on Lee Canyon Road in the Mount Charleston area.
