LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a suicidal man was fatally shot by officers after he pointed a gun at them.
Police say the man confronted officers after walking outside an apartment complex early Saturday with multiple guns.
Dan Unger told KLAS-TV that he watched the shooting of his son, Patrick, unfold and he plans to seek legal action against the police department.
He says his 26-year-old son had been suffering from depression and he thinks he was "crying out for help" to get back into the movie business as a Hollywood stuntman.
Police say three officers were involved in the shooting. Their names were not immediately released.
