LAS VEGAS (AP) - Fire investigators say a northwest Las Vegas house fire that killed two people earlier this month was accidental.

The Aug. 8 blaze on Empire Rock Road killed a couple from Memphis, Tenn., and injured the couple who lived in the home.

Investigators say the fire was caused by an electrical problem and started in the attic several hours before it was discovered.

Damage to the 3,700-square-foot-home was estimated at $350,000.

Officials say the two homeowners escaped through the front door, but their guests were unable to flee in time.
