LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a man has died after being shot by an FBI agent during an armed confrontation outside a Las Vegas neighborhood casino.
FBI agent Patrick Turner said Friday that investigators from Washington are reviewing the shooting that happened 3 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot of an Arizona Charlie's casino southeast of downtown.
The name of the dead man wasn't immediately made public.
Turner says he had a gun. It wasn't immediately clear if he fired any shots.
Turner said the man was sought on armed robbery and burglary charges, and was wanted for questioning in a recent Las Vegas slaying.
The agent was part of a joint local and federal criminal apprehension team that had been monitoring the man's movements before trying to make the arrest.
