LAS VEGAS (AP) - A former Hells Angels motorcycle club chapter president in Las Vegas and his son have pleaded guilty to felony charges but will avoid trial in a wedding chapel brawl with rival Mongols motorcycle gang members.
A prosecutor said Wednesday that Charles "Peewee" Goldsmith pleaded guilty Monday in Clark County District Court to coercion and battery with substantial bodily harm with a criminal gang enhancement. He'll face two to five years in prison at sentencing March 18.
Brad Goldsmith pleaded guilty to attempted coercion and battery causing substantial bodily harm. His attorney, Andrew Leavitt, says he'll face 16 months to four years in prison.
The pleas bring to 10 the number of Hells Angels members to take plea deals in the December 2008 melee that left six people injured.
