LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a California man found dead outside a Las Vegas hospital last month had "fatal levels" of prescription drugs in his system.
The Clark County Coroner's Office says 43-year-old Jason Forrester of Irvine, Calif., died from ingesting a combination of the painkillers, methadone, morphine, oxycodone and the psycho-stimulant amphetamine.
He was found curled into a fetal position Oct. 17 outside University Medical Center.
Coroner Mike Murphy told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the death was ruled accidental from intoxication.
He says Forrester was admitted to the hospital after a car accident the night before his death, but the crash had nothing to do with his death.
It's unclear whether the hospital gave him any of the drugs. The hospital declined to comment.
