LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a man was killed when his car struck a parked semitrailer in the northwest part of the valley.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday on Gowan Road east of Rainbow Blvd.
Police say the man's 2000 Ford Mustang veered to the right and struck the rear of the big-rig truck.
The victim died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
