Diners Safe After Two-Alarm Fire at Olive Garden

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Officials say an Olive Garden in Henderson was shut down until crews can repair damage from a two-alarm fire.

Henderson officials say they got reports of a malfunctioning ice machine and a fire at the restaurant on East Sunset Road about 2 p.m. Thursday.

Crews say they found flames in a wall extending through the business' roof and attic. Firefighters say they were able to extinguish the fire after cutting a ventilation hole in the building.

No patrons were hurt, although one firefighter was treated at the scene for burns to his hands.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $60,000
