LAS VEGAS (AP) - A father has been cited for jaywalking after his three children were hit by a motorcycle while crossing a Las Vegas street with him.
Police say the crash happened about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Las Vegas Boulevard North, near Lamont Street.
Authorities say a motorcyclist who was traveling south on Lamont Street tried to stop when he saw the family, but skidded sideways into them.
Police Lt. Mark Reddon says the three children were rushed to University Medical Center. Reddon says a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old may have broken legs, while a 9-year-old appeared to have a head injury.
The motorcyclist is not expected to face charges.
