LAS VEGAS (AP) - Clark County's top prosecutor says three officers acted reasonably and lawfully when they shot a man dead outside a Ross store in Las Vegas last October.
District Attorney Steve Wolfson says 52-year-old Ronald Morrison had already shot a homeless man in the hand and pointed his weapon at officers when they opened fire Oct. 29, 2012.
Morrison was pronounced dead outside the shopping center, which is located on Desert Inn Road. No police were hurt.
Authorities later determined Morrison's blood alcohol level was four times the legal driving limit at the time of the shooting.
