BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) - An organization searching Lake Mead for an airman who presumably drowned last June has found a man's body underwater.
Parks officials say the body was recovered Wednesday morning. The Clark County coroner has not yet identified it.
Authorities say the search and recovery organization Earth Resource Group obtained a permit to look for 28-year-old Antonio Tucker, who was last seen in the Boulder Basin on June 23.
The group's search started Monday within a square mile of where Tucker was last seen.
Searchers using side scan sonar detected what appeared to be a body about 280 feet underwater on Tuesday.
The crew and police divers returned Wednesday and brought the body to the surface.
Tucker is from Philadelphia and worked as a drone crew chief at Creech Air Force Base.
