LAS VEGAS (AP) - A sport utility vehicle struck and seriously injured three people at a Las Vegas bus stop, including a 3-year-old girl.
Police say the girl and two adults were sitting at a bus stop when the SUV driver lost control when turning at an intersection, drove onto the sidewalk and struck them Saturday afternoon.
The driver is accused of fleeing the scene and driving behind some buildings where witnesses held him until police arrived.
Police say 22-year-old Julio Enriquez of Las Vegas was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, hit and run, and driving without a driver's license
The 12:45 p.m. accident remains under investigation.
