CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - District Judge James Wilson says he'll rule later on whether a business margins tax initiative pushed by the state teachers union and other Nevada labor groups meets legal muster to proceed.
Opponents claim the Education Initiative is misleading and violates Nevada's single-subject rule for ballot measures.
Wilson listened to attorney arguments Tuesday in Carson City. Following the hour-long hearing, he said he would issue a written ruling at a later date.
