Coroner IDs Two Killed in Plane Crash

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified two men who died over the weekend when a single-engine aircraft crashed near Boulder City Municipal Airport.

Clark County coroner's officials say 41-year-old Joseph Edwards of Las Vegas and 23-year-old Cody Allen Hall of North Las Vegas died of their injuries in the Sunday afternoon crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported that the Beech A45 was attempting to land when it went down about 4 miles west of the air field.

The National Weather Service reported winds were about 29 mph with gusts to 35 mph about the same time.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
