LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 60-year-old pedestrian killed in a Las Vegas hit-and-run crash last week.
Clark County coroner's officials say Las Vegas resident Joe Edward Collins died at the scene of the Wednesday night crash on Torrey Pines Drive, north of Casada Way.
Police say it appears Collins was outside a marked crosswalk when he was struck.
Authorities had few details about the vehicle that hit him, except that it was a dark-colored, mid-size or large SUV that continued north on Torrey Pines Drive without stopping.
The crash marks the 23rd traffic-related fatality this year in Las Vegas police jurisdiction.
