LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 61-year-old Las Vegas man killed in a weekend rollover near Lake Mead that also injured his passenger.
Clark County coroner's officials say driver Douglas L. Bounsall was killed in the crash on Northshore Road about 6 p.m. Sunday.
Witnesses say the vehicle was traveling north near mile marker 23 when the driver attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. National Park Service officials say the vehicle rolled three times.
Bounsall was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was taken to the hospital by helicopter in critical condition.
Nevada Highway Patrol officials are investigating.
