LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 26-year-old worker who died after falling at a construction site in Summerlin.
Clark County coroner's officials say Henderson resident Mark Brian Lovett died at the scene of the fall a little before 9 a.m. Tuesday. His exact cause of death hasn't yet been released.
Las Vegas police Officer Lawrence Hadfield says the fall happened at the 10000 block of Summerlin Centre Drive, near the Red Rock casino.
Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration say an inspector was dispatched to the site, and the agency is investigating.
Officials at the Howard Hughes Corp., which is developing the site into a shopping center, issued a statement saying they were deeply saddened by Lovett's death and are dedicated to worker safety.
