LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 46-year-old man who died after being struck by an SUV in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Clark County coroner's officials say Guyle Richard Hirschman was killed in the crash that happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday on Tropicana Avenue, west of the intersection with Paradise Road.
Investigators say Hirschman was crossing Tropicana outside a crosswalk when he was hit by a Ford Escape and thrown forward. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 58-year-old woman driving the SUV was not injured.
The crash marks the 37th traffic-related death in Las Vegas police jurisdiction this year.
