LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 35-year-old Las Vegas man who was fatally shot through a front door when he went to answer it.
Clark County coroner's officials say Eric Paul Montoya died of multiple gunshot wounds after the incident about 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Las Vegas police say Montoya was about to answer the door at a home on White Skies Court, northwest of downtown, when he was hit by two gunshots. Family members at the house called for help, but none of them were injured.
Montoya was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries.
Police say they arrested 33-year-old Raul Gonzales early the next day in a hotel parking lot. He was booked on suspicion of murder.
Jail records show he's set to appear in court on Friday.
