Coroner IDs Man Dead in Weekend Shooting in Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a 34-year-old Las Vegas man dead after a weekend shooting that police believe may be gang-related.

The Clark County coroner's office says Edwin A. Clark died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers say they responded about 5 p.m. Saturday to an apartment complex on Simmons Street in northwest Las Vegas.

Police say they found Clark dead at the scene. A female victim was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that police say aren't life-threatening.

Investigators believe the two were leaving their vehicle when someone shot them. Authorities say it doesn't appear there was a confrontation before the shooting, and say the incident may be gang-related.
