NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - North Las Vegas police say two brothers are being held on conspiracy to commit robbery charges in the theft of money from a woman who had just withdrawn cash from a drive-through bank ATM.
Police Officer Chrissie Coon says 18-year-old Diego Rodriguez was arrested late Tuesday, a day after 26-year-old Nestor Rodriguez was arrested in the May 5 robbery outside a bank on Rancho Drive near the Fiesta Rancho casino hotel.
Both suspects were being held at the Las Vegas city jail on $20,000 bail pending a court appearance. It was not immediately clear if they had lawyers.
Police say two men approached the driver's window of the woman's vehicle and demanded the cash.
Coon says witnesses who saw televised reports of security video images helped identify Nestor Rodriguez.
