Boy Killed During Attempted iPad Robbery

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas are looking for two suspects in the killing of a juvenile during an attempted robbery of his iPad.

Metro police investigators tell KLAS-TV the youth was walking near Charleston Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive on Thursday when a white SUV pulled up next to him.

A white man jumped out and tried to grab his iPad. When he wouldn't give it up, the suspect jumped back in the SUV, which then ran over the youth.

The SUV had tinted windows and no license plate.

The suspect is described as 6-foot, 180-200 pounds with short, blond hair and trimmed beard.

The driver was a black man in his mid-20s with a medium build, tattoo sleeves on both arms, and a long chain necklace with a pendant.
