LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 12-year-old boy is critically injured after being struck by a car in the northeast part of Las Vegas.
Police say a woman in a Nissan Altima was heading north on Lamb Boulevard, near Diamond Head Drive, when she hit the child about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say the boy was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk.
He was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
The driver remained at the scene.
Police are investigating.
