LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Tony Award-winning musical "The Book of Mormon" is coming to Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the satirical production's national tour will play at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in the summer of 2014.
Smith Center President Myron Martin tells the newspaper patrons have been requesting the show since the musical opened on Broadway.
"The Book of Mormon" tells the story of two young men on a mission to convert the people of Uganda. It's the brainchild of "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and composer Robert Lopez.
The musical won nine Tony Awards in 2011, including best musical.
