LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton is returning to Las Vegas to stump for President Barack Obama and local Democratic candidates.

Campaign officials say the former president will talk during a Tuesday event at the Springs Preserve about choices facing Nevadans in the presidential election between Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley and congressional candidates John Oceguera and Steven Horsford are also due to take part in the rally.

Clinton is scheduled later to make fundraising appearances for Berkley and Oceguera.

Berkley is running for U.S. Senate against Republican incumbent Dean Heller. Oceguera faces Congressman Joe Heck. Horsford faces Republican businessman Danny Tarkanian.

Clinton is also slated to give a banquet keynote speech to the UNLV Foundation.

Clinton's visit comes 11 days before the start of early voting in Nevada.
