LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas Metro police say a bicyclist died after he ran a red light at an intersection and was struck by a vehicle.
Police say the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday night at the intersection of Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue.
Investigators say the bicyclist had no lights or reflectors and was not wearing a helmet.
They say the driver remained at the scene, and speed is not suspected as a factor in the 7 p.m. accident.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
