Baby Found Dead in Trash
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are investigating after a maintenance
worker found a baby dead inside a Las Vegas apartment complex trash bin.
Officer Bill Cassell says a worker reported finding human
remains about 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Rancho Mesa Apartments, near the North Las Vegas Airport.
Cassell says police believe the baby was left there within 24
hours of when it was found, but were still trying to determine the
baby's age, gender, race, and cause of death.
Cassell asks anyone with information about the infant to call
police.
